Cat and Dog

When cats and dogs get along it’s the greatest thing because then they can keep each other company. Cats can be very unpredictable in whether or not they will accept a new animal, such as a dog in the house. Cats could be viscous and mean or the complete opposite, loving the new animal to pieces. In the end it is truly up to the cat to accept the new animal. Rascal was introduced to his new playmate: Cooper, over a year ago. They are both done their growing and are the same size now. These two have become best friends through playing with one another, sleeping on one another, and even giving each other kisses on the head. The cat and dog have officially become inseparable, if one leaves for too long, the other just mopes around the house.

Below is a video from YouTube that shows a relationship between a cat and dog. This was typical of Rascal and Cooper in the beginning. Rascal would always just put up with the new puppy’s amusements; however, after a certain point Rascal, like the cat in the video, would show the new puppy who is boss. Cats are great for initiating play-time; however, once the cat has had enough they also know how to end it. The cat’s paw it the ultimate weapon of choice. They can use their paw in a playful manner, as a warning, as well as to stop something annoying. However, as shown in the video the cat’s teeth are the last resort, and this is usually when they are completely annoyed. As the video shows, a cat and dog together can be very interestng watch.
